Armor Items

Classes in Heroes of Dire have their own wants and needs when it comes to combat. Paladins are expected to run head-first into combat to protect their squads, whereas healers are expected to stay mobile and "play it safe" in the backlines. The types of armors you equip your fighters with affects many factors in the battlefield, so choose wisely.

Cloth Armor

  • Movement Speed: 2
  • Classes: Healer, Mage, Archer, Rogue, Hero
  • Primary Stat Bonuses: Magic, Defense
  • Primary Stat Penalties: Deflection

Leather ARMOR

  • Movement Speed: 3
  • Classes: Archer, Rogue, Warrior, Hero
  • Primary Stat Bonuses: Defense, Deflect
  • Primary Stat Penalties: Magic

Mail ARMOR

  • Movement Speed: 4
  • Classes: Archer, Paladin, Warrior, Hero
  • Primary Stat Bonuses: Defense, Deflect
  • Primary Stat Penalties: Magic

Plate ARMOR

  • Movement Speed: 5
  • Classes: Paladin, Hero
  • Primary Stat Bonuses: Defense, Deflect
  • Primary Stat Penalties: Magic
  • Abilities: Push and Knockback Immunity
